We recently got Emery blessed into the church. She was super good-as always. She wore the dress I wore when I got baptised 27 years ago. I was shocked it actually fit her! She looked so cute. Thanks to mom, brooke and Janelle for coming the rest of the family was hunting :(
These two are the ones who blessed her in. Jane was who married Pat and I two years ago so I saw it fitting that she where there to bless Emery.

I've been really bad at updating lately! I guess that's what happens when you have a mobile baby. She definately keeps me on my feet now. She started to crawl about two weeks ago and now she is in to everything.

She loves to stand on any and everything!

Look!

Check out what she did the other day!! It is not that high up but she still pulled herself up all by herself! She is now 7 months old and weighs in at a whopping 17 lbs 2 ozs! She loves to eat everything in sight!

what a difference

Wow! When you look at it through pictures it's alot more real! Look how big she is getting. I know I say it all the time but it really is just flying by! She will be seven months next week.

Some things about her now...

She weighs in at 16 lbs and 28 in long. She is the same size as her cousin Blake who is 2 months younger than her. But she is a tad taller than him.

She has no teeth yet. We have sworn she was teething a number of times but where wrong!

She loves her veggies and does not care for fruits that much

I am weining her off of breastmilk and putting her on formula. She's taken to it very well.

She can sit up all by herself and loves to play on the floor

She sometimes has a slight case of seperation anxiety but that's easily cured by putting her in whichever doorway so she can see me cooking or getting ready in the morning.

She is still a good sleeper-we had a rough patch for about a week but figured out why real fast-she wasnt getting enough to eat which is why she is getting formula now-mommy just wasnt producing the goods!

She is making alot more noises and will go back and forth with you if you make a farting noise

She is in the first stages of crawling. She scoots everywhere.

I thought I heard her say momma the other day but am pretty sure I was just hearing things! But she will say momma first even though her daddy thinks different!

She is all smile 95% of the time

I still love every aspect of being a mom

Emery has the best dad any kid could ask for

She has been blessed with amazing grandparents

She has had pink eye and a black eye within 2 weeks of each other :(

Sweetest face ever!

6 months old!!!

Emery is 6 months old!! I can't believe she is half a year old already. I honestly just feel like I had her a month ago! She is still the best baby ever. She has started to eat food-I attempted to make my own but it was more time consuming than I expected. So jarred food it is! She has only had veggies so far but I am incorporating fruits this week. She no longer hates her car seat. Which is a relief! She is still sleeping through the night for the most part- once and a while she will wake up in the middle of the night. She is starting to make more noise but is still a relatively quiet baby. She has stopped using the swing bc she has outgrown it and has also gotten rid of her late nap. She loves to be outside. She now weighs in at 16lbs 4 oz!

Lucky Number 13

Baby Hadley Josephine is here!! She arrived October 25th at 5:48pm and weighed in at 6lbs 13ozs. She is a tiny little thing but is so sweet! I missed being there when she was born by 10 minutes :( She is our number 13 niece/nephew.

pumpkin patch

Janelle, Megan and I took the girls to the pumpkin patch. It was an abnormally hot October day and we all where off. THe guys were working or sick. I had a really good time but next time we will not go around nap time! They had a lot of fun things for the kids. I cant wait to take Emery when she's a little older. Evelyn had to wear these boots. It was seriously around 85 degrees! But she refused to take them off and it's easier to say ok than to fight with a two year old. She didnt complain though!

This is what happens when you are out in the sun and dont get a nap. She slept the whole way to Terra's house and while we were there for 40 minutes and on the way home! And never let her pumpkin go

I love everything about this little girl! The other morning when she woke up she didn't cry. I was up getting ready and I heard her cooing and making little noises. It was so cute and funny. This is how I found her when I walked into her room! She actually found her toy that's on the side of her crib the other day and now I will sometimes here that going off in her room b/c she turns it on!

Ev being bored at the Farmers Market. Des Moines has an awesome farmers market! I bet it would have been even better had it not been raining.

All of us kids went to Des Moines to see Joy last weekend for sibling weekend. It was alot of fun! I loved having us all together and all the little kiddies together! Everyone played so well together. The weather could have been much nicer but we made it through.
