Over the weekend Janelle and I went garage selling and found some cool stuff. But it was when I was taking her home that I found this!!!
An antique baby bed that someone was throwing away-yes I "dumpster dived" but it was on the side of the road and I thought why not!! I was super scared and my heart was racing while I was loading it in the car!! It is in great condition all it had was a litlle dust! I know I dont have kids yet and no I'm not trying to tell you anything but I could not pass this up!!
This is one of the projects I've started and actually finished!!! I took and old mirror w/hooks and painted it black and then stuck the stencil on. You can't really tell but it has our last name Irons then Pat & Carrie on top of that. It turned out way better than I thought. Now all Pat has to do is hang it.
I am thinking about hanging pictures from the hooks. I also cant decide where I want it- the kitchen or downstairs? Any suggestions???
Ayva Marie Nelson born 9/16/08 12:59 am 8 lbs 11ozs 20in long. Isn't she the cutest! Krista is such a trooper. She is an awesome mom and I'm so glad she finally got her girl! Even though it was way sooner than she thought :) It'll be a challenge having a 1 yr old and a newborn but she has a great group of friends who is always willing to help!! We love you guys :) Congrats
This mirror was the other cool find of that weekend and I only paid $3 for it. Man I love garage sales!!

Home Sweet Cabin!! A lot of us went to the cabin for Labor Day Weekend. It was super fun. Pat and I went out Friday after work and got back late sunday night. It was like Halloween Weekend out there-so many people!! We went 4 wheeling which all the kids loved especially Austin who never used to like it- also went canooing and just hung out and laughed the whole weekend! I think I had one too many boones farms in some of these pictures!
